When I visited AmateurMatch adult dating site a year or more ago I remember the site being pretty remarkable for its real profiles and interaction. It doesn’t look like that has changed, but the some aspects of profiles and interaction definitely have. In the past you were required to fill out a good amount of details for a profile, which made browsing more fruitful as you could get a very good idea of the other person (or persons) before contacting them, or to help you decide if you even want to contact them. Now the sign up process requires fewer details and I noticed this was reflected in profiles - they just aren’t as detailed as they used to be.

If the profiles aren’t as detailed they are at least very real. Whether or not a site is just scamming folks with fake profiles is usually the number one concern for those out researching for a place to hook up and meet people, and rightly so. If the profiles aren’t real, you aren’t going to meet anyone! Amateur Match has real profiles, at least for the most part. I can’t say with confidence that some people don’t sign up with fake ones and use the system as a spam platform, but Amateur Match does try to keep that sort of practice at a very minimum, insomuch as it can.

One thing that is probably as important as the realness of profiles is that when you select a location they only let you choose a US state or city. For those outside of the USA this is going to be a problem, and make it harder to meet amateur people near you.

Surfers can see a lot of the site for free, just tooling around and checking it out. To really get access you will need to create an account. For example, without and account you won’t be able to see a member’s pictures - just thumbnails of them.
